BrightNewHorizon is committed to meeting international standards of quality and accountability. We focus on ensuring that our partners and the communities we work with have a voice in planning, implementing, and evaluating our work. Given the vulnerability of the poor and victimized women and girls population, we emphasize integrating humanitarian accountability standards in our work.
BrightNewHorizon’s Program monitors the extent to which we are making progress in achieving our impact goals. We are accountable to our donors and therefore ensure that we transparently share information, or where we are unable to satisfy an information request, explain why.
BrightNewHorizon will post a substantial amount of data on the internet, including annual reports, advocacy policy reports, program reports, research reports, external evaluations, and media releases. All stakeholders, donors, and our clients have the right to provide feedback to BrightNewHorizon, including a complaint, and to receive a response.
Reporting Harassment, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: We know people are sometimes reluctant to report domestic violence, including sexual abuse or harassment. So, we are focused and committed to creating an online environment at Banner of BightNewHorizon where people feel safe to come forward with abuse claims, including sexual harassment, exploitation. We take reports extremely seriously and protect victims as well as witnesses.
